Hello foodie loves!
Christmas is just around the corner with only five or so weeks to go. I absolutely adore Christmas and every year plan out my gift spreadsheet of who to buy for, ideas of what they might like and links to pressie suggestions. I keep it around all year on my Google Drive just in case someone happens to mention they might like something which I can sneakily make a note of for later. As usual, there is always one or two tricky people that are hard to buy for and I love finding new sources of inspiration online wherever I can! In fact I even wrote a blog post about 100+ budget Christmas gift ideas for foodies two years ago to look back on whenever I’m running low on ideas.
So this in mind I was very happy to learn about a new website, Where Your Heart Is, a fabulous initiative that provides Christmas shoppers the opportunity to put their holiday shopping to good use and help support local producers and your local communities – an online shopping experience for social enterprise. What could be better than that?
To make the shopping experience even sweeter, Australia Post is supporting Where Your Heart Is with free shipping on 18-19 November and 11-12 December so you can get all your lovely Christmas gifts sent to you free of charge. I don’t know about you but I always look for free shipping when I’m shopping online!!
To celebrate Where Your Heart Is, I’m giving away three unique hampers from Elfred’s of the Peninsula available online from Where Your Heart Is. Each hamper has a different selection from this delicious range Gourmet Lovers Pack, Spice Lovers Pack and the Chilli Lovers Pack and is valued at RRP $40+ each. These hampers would make the perfect gift for your loved ones this Christmas season, or the perfect accompaniment to all your Christmas roasts!
To enter, simply leave a comment below by letting me know, What’s your ideal Christmas gift? Competition ends on Sunday 23 November at midnight so hurry!
This competition is open to Australian readers only.
Hope all your Christmas planning and shopping goes smoothly!

My ideal Christmas gift is for all my friends to be happy! Oh…and…WORLD PEACE!
I am a foodie so my perfect Christmas gift is food related. To be honest, tickets to The Fat Duck for my fiance and I to sit at Heston Blumenthal’s table would pretty much make me love whoever gave it to me.
My ideal Christmas gift is a home-made card with a heart-felt message. Or failing that, something delicious 🙂
anything delicious! but sweet will have more brownie points attached!
A genuine surprise and something I really need but never knew it.
My ideal Christmas gift is invariably something kitchen related. However, because I love wine people often don’t give it to me (go figure!), so presents that come in bottle shapes are always appreciated!
My idea gift is something that can be eaten or an experience like a class or performance. I also love homemade goodies – Last year a friend made me a special jar of handcream that was much appreciated.
i love this! definitely going to look into buying gifts….
my ideal christmas gift really is gourmet food, or maybe vouchers to buy stuff (as i never spend money on myself and really do need new clothes and shoes!)
My ideal Christmas gift is one that comes from the heart and doesn’t cost money, so a heartfelt hug is perfect!
Something I can showcase in my home. A kitchen aid mixer??? Please Santa!
For me anything food related is the ultimate christmas present! I especially love something home made. I am sending christmas cakes to everyone this year 🙂
A home-made foodie gift is always a winner! When I was little I used to make my grandpa peanut cluster chocolates and ginger dark chocolates for my grandmas. Now that they have passed away I find myself craving these home-made sweet treats. Maybe this year Santa will put some in my stocking?
heaps of chocolate. I’ve been on a diet for a few months and I definitely need to have a treat over Christmas
My ideal gift would be a decent bottle of Curry Ketchup. No one makes it in Australia and it is expensive to get it from overseas. So if someone can lather me in curry sauce this Christmas, I’ll be a happy man.
i would love anything that i got from my loved ones because it would mean that i was spending time with them
My ideal gift would be a hamper from Elfred’s of The Peninsula! Nom nom nom
I am a foodie so my perfect Christmas gift is food related. To be honest, tickets to The Fat Duck for my fiance and I to sit at Heston Blumenthal’s table would pretty much make me love whoever gave it to me.
I love to receive cooking appliances for Christmas so I can spend the Christmas holiday trying out new recipes and experimenting with my new toy!
Marbles.
Because I tend to lose mine during the festive season! 🙂
Congrats to the winners!
I love giving gifts as well – it’s so great every time someone opens up a gift and you see a smile on their face. 🙂
Plane tickets to Europe – I miss a wintery christmas 🙁
My ideal gift is something I can enjoy with others- my family, my bf etc as it makes it all the more fun!
