So… you may have wondered where I’ve been for the past year or so. It’s been a huge year for me and probably one of the most exciting years I’ve ever had. You could say this was the year I gave my heart to food. I got my first job working in the food industry as a PA to a food personality, had the opportunity to work on 2Β food TV shows, started learning about recipe testing and even had the opportunity to prepare food for a book shoot.

I cooked, and baked and experimented with new ingredients and recipes and learned more about food than I ever thought possible.

Finally I finished off the journey by quitting work full time and returning to study Commercial Cookery full time at TAFE to get my qualifications to be a chef. At this point I have a few ideas of where I want to go after I’ve finished studying, but you really never know where you’ll end up right?
